We are looking for a senior full stack engineer to join our core team in Gothenburg. We are scaling our product and solution and are therefore also expanding our product development team locally. We are now looking to find talented engineers to solidify the backbone as we continue to grow. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment to operations.

Techquity is a private equity and venture capital fundraising platform. Today important parts of the fundraising infrastructure are plagued by inefficiency. Our goal is to improve this infrastructure – to remove obstacles by digitalizing the process – and make capital more readily available. To date we have helped raise €2.5 billion through the platform from investors all over the world.

Techquity is expanding with great traction and we see great potential for future growth. We are growing geographically as well as expanding our value proposition to cover more of the fundraising process. 

As a full stack engineer, you should be comfortable around, or willing to work with, both front-end and back-end. You should also be a customer-oriented team player. As a senior engineer you are expected to work in a way that excels the entire team, and the team’s development.

Your future?

• Solving challenges across the full stack, from the React front-end to the Node.js back-end applications and containerized APIs running in the AWS cloud. The development is done in Typescript.
• Prototyping, developing, testing and optimizing applications and products across the Techquity portfolio, with support from our designer and close collaboration with our customer success team.

Who are you?

• Knowledge in front-end development, preferably React
• Knowledge in back-end development, preferably Node.js
• Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and cloud development, preferably AWS
• Bonus: Knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo
• Bonus: Knowledge of AWS Lambda, Docker, distributed systems, and asynchronous systems

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• Enjoys learning and sharing knowledge with peers about technology and solutions in a growing and fast paced environment
• Being motivated by helping others
• Great attention to detail and focus on quality
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer or similar role, and since this is a senior position, preferably 5+ years
• Proficient in English
